Sree Puthuchirakkavu Devi Kshethram is a historic Hindu temple located in Purappuzha village, Idukki district, Kerala. Situated approximately 6 kilometers from Thodupuzha town, the temple boasts a rich tradition spanning over 1,500 years and is renowned for its serene ambiance and architectural beauty 

The presiding deity of the temple is Goddess Bhadrakali, worshipped in her fierce form. The temple complex features traditional Kerala temple architecture, including a chuttambalam (outer corridor), namaskara mandapam (prayer hall), and a temple pond. Shrines dedicated to various upadevatas (sub-deities) are also present within the temple premises 

The temple's annual festival, known as Meena Pooram, is celebrated during the Punartham nakshatra in the Malayalam month of Meenam (March-April). The festivities commence with Prathishta Dinam (installation day) and include rituals such as Kalasham and Ponkala Maholsavam. The highlight of the festival is the Ezhunnallathu procession featuring caparisoned elephants, accompanied by Chenda Melam (traditional drum ensemble) and Attam (traditional dance)
