Mayamcottu Malanchavaru Devaswom( Public Trust)
This is the unique temple having the recitation of Sreemad Mahabharatham for the last more than 75 years. Now on every first saturday of Malayalam month and having a Mahabharatha Yagnam for five days during the month of April- May every year.
The temple festival known by name " Malakkuda Utchara Maholsavam" celebrates to 9 days, starts by hoisting of flag on Makaram 20 and ends at Makaram 28 every year.
The centuries old dravidian folk art by name " Bharatham kali, Malakkuda procession, and Kettukazhcha are the main traditional functions at the temple on the Utcharam day of Makaram 28.
