Kattil Mekkathil Devi Temple, located in Panmana, Chavara, Kollam district, is a significant shrine dedicated to Goddess Bhadrakali. Devotees affectionately call her “Kattil Mekkathil Amma.” The goddess is revered as a source of love, compassion, and protection. The temple’s main festival is marked by traditional celebrations including Chenda Melam (percussion ensemble), Thalappoli (ritual procession with lamps), and pradakshina (circumambulation of the deity).
